Saying I shot this in raw makes me feel like I was hunting fish for sushi with a shotgun. I wish I could, really, but these pictures are from a nice, quiet Sunday a few weeks ago. It was about 5 degrees above freezing, which at this time of year in NY is call for no tights, light coats, and wandering around outside. We (me, my two roommates and one roommate's girlfriend) were determined, but by the time we got home we were all a bit miserable a cold. Regardless, the sunset was amazing. As were the burritos we ate, and the word magnets on my friend's fridge.

2014
My good friend Alex was kind enough to sell me his Canon Rebel T1i (which I have read is called the 500D in other places), and I decided I ought to upload my favorite photos from the year. In 2014, I saw the temperatures drop below -30 in January, visited our new 3d printing lab in February, went to my school's convention in March, hung out in NYC in April, graduated in May, visited the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, and Portugal in June, and spent July back in New York. Most of my photography since August has been for my job as a social media marketing coordinator for a landscaping company, but I'll upload the bits and pieces I did take on my own soon.
My 2015 goal is to take MORE photos, and improve my photography skills. So I decided to post these here, so I can see how far I've come. Here's to less overexposure, skewed angles, and blurry backgrounds in this new year.
